Reparation of the principal water supply tank

Building materials and transportation were financed by the Ali Shungu Foundation. Labor provided by the five communities of Yambiro, Lacracunga, Panacillo, San Juan Loma and Agualongo. A minga is a gathering of all members of the communities to provide labor beneficial to all. Building materials (including 7000 lbs. of cement) were carried by hand two kilometers into the forest and to the main collection tank. Over 400 comuneros participated during two weekends.
