Projects -- Water

CHLORINATION SYSTEM-the communities now purchase chlorine, which is very expensive, to treat the source water for intestinal parasites.  They have the option to purchase an processor that produces chlorine at a fraction of the cost to buy it.

The five communities have 50% of the total cost in a savings account.  They have asked The Ali Shungu foundation to provide the other half necessary.

TOTAL COST:  $1,575.00 

We are asking for contributions to cover the $790.

SEWAGE SYSTEM-A long term goal of the foundation is to provide a basic sewage system connecting the five communities.  There exists no system whatsoever, a great risk to health.
