How to Help

Long Term Plans

Five communities, a total of 4000 persons, depend on a water system that was installed by the government 20 years ago.  Twelve years ago, the main water tank collapsed and this also affected the flow of water. The water tank has been repaired.

Last year, students from the University of Wisconsin invested $8000. into improving the water system by purchasing 4-inch tubing to replace inadequate tubing.  The project was documented has augmented the potential water supply to villages by 50% and can be viewed on the "
What's New" page.

Funds are still needed to repair the collection pool of the principal mountain spring source, which leaks community water and continues to worsen!  About $1000. will repair the pool, with labor provided by the communities.
