How to Help

Long Term Plans

Your contribution will go toward the education of a gifted, but extremely poor, young indigenous girl from one of the five communities.

Tuition for a private education costs about $25. a month (x8), a price that most parents can not spare, what with many other children to support and especially for a girl who is usually needed to work in the home.

With the upcoming 2004-2005 school year, we are asking for funding to pay tuition and cost of materials for gifted young ladies studying 8th through 12th grade.

Friday, the 13th of August, 2004
Parents and students arrive for the presentation of scholarships to four young ladies.  The Ali Shungu Foundation has received funding to provide scholarships for 4 young ladies for this school year.  Photos and short biographies follow.
