Myra Alexandra Perugachi

Myra Perugachi, of Yambiro, 14, is receiving a $100. scholarship for the second year in a row.  Last year, Myra's parents were planning to send her to Quito to work but were convinced to keep her in school because of the scholarship.  Myra now works part time at the Ali Shungu Lodge and wishes to follow a career in tourism.

Lidia Marisol Males

Lidia Marisol Males of Agualongo, an A student, has received a $100. scholarship.  She wishes to be an architect, the first young lady of her family to study beyond the 6th grade.  Her mother was unable to cash the foundation check because she is unable to sign her name…………...
